SCIENTIFIC INITIATION - LPA USP

I did scientific initiation on path detection in plantations with machine learning for autonomous mobile robots. I have been able to learn about machine vision, mobile robot navigation and techniques of machine learning, particularly about convolutional neural networks models. For the practical part, I have used YOLOv8’s object detection model, developed Python algorithms and worked with ROS2 in order to model and to simulate a mobile robot.
